OpenBSD Container - jail docker or podman ?
Hi All,
Wish you Happy New Year 2022 !! How to configure jail on OpenBSD 6.7 ? (is it possible to configure Openbsd 7.0 jail on openbsd 6.7 jailer host) can I use docker or podman (or similar container method) to enable containers on openbsd ? I already explored alpine linux docker image but interested in native openbsd utility if any thing is available for OpenBSD (any version) .. I can not use vmm as our infrastructure doesnt have support for nested virtualization . Apprieicate your suggestions!! |

OpenBSD does not have Containers or Jails. It has a native hypervisor, vmm(4). The FAQ has a chapter on using this hypervisor: http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq16.html
Please note that Release 6.7 has been unsupported since May 1, 2021. |

That will only talk to a docker daemon running on a linux host somewhere. It doesn't run the containers.
