Status no carrier after power outage
Hi guys,
after a power outage, the status for interface looking at the internal lan (fxp0) on my firewall is no carrier. fxp0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 lladdr 00:04:23:11:7d:ab index 1 priority 0 llprio 3 media: Ethernet autoselect (none) status: no carrier inet 192.168.1.50 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255 Rebooting won't change status to active and neither does it trying to up it with ifconfig. Any hints? |

SOLVED. The power supply for the LAN switch was fried. Once replaced it worked again.
