It seems there's currently no way of mounting a samba share :/ At least i see none in pkgsrc.
If you have control over fileserver, maybe try using alternatives like SFTP + sshfs

mount_smbfs supported merely (very) outdated SMBv1 - it'd likely be useless anyway

Hi,
I have no solution for you. According to NetBSD mailing list[1], smbfs in NetBSD supported only SMB1 whereas Windows 10 default version is SMB2.

As such, they decided to remove it and as far as I can tell there is no solution to this.

Maybe you could use sshfs? Maybe if you gave more information on your setup would the users here be better able to help with alternatives.

Search for the NetBSD port or package of Samba.Samva provides a server as well as a client for SMB/CIFS.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Message_Block and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samba_(software)
