Thanks,
When it occurs, yes ssh access and also the webserver (website). Since it is remote , ( I do not have physical access), when this occurs I have to send a e-mail, and the guy at the server manually restarts it, some times several hours go by before I can contact him, when it is down, or stopped it stays that way until someone reboots the server, obviously , when this occurs I have no ssh access and can not reboot it. I am wondering , if you can be more specific as to which log to look at ? Actually there are not very many, that I can find, /var/log/messages and "syslog", do not have anything indicating much, all though the syslog has a whole lot of errors,.. Similar to this, Code:
Aug 24 12:07:29 %nameserver 1 2017-08-24T12:07:29.883333+00:00 garry.minix.org reboot - - - rebooted by root Aug 24 17:56:03 %nameserver 1 2017-08-24T17:56:03.866666+00:00 %nameserver sshd 2611 - - fatal: Write failed: Connection reset by peer Aug 25 02:59:38 %nameserver 1 2017-08-25T02:59:38.333333+00:00 %nameserver sshd 4567 - - fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer Aug 25 02:59:43 %nameserver 1 2017-08-25T02:59:43.016666+00:00 %nameserver sshd 4568 - - fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer Aug 25 03:24:23 %nameserver 1 2017-08-25T03:24:23.133333+00:00 %nameserver sshd 4754 - - fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer Aug 25 03:24:31 %nameserver 1 2017-08-25T03:24:31.666666+00:00 %nameserver sshd 4755 - - fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer Code:

It is not a real big deal, it all ways reboots just fine, and it seems now it takes more time before this occurs, several days go by and no problem. If and when I get it to where it is stable, I don't plan to use it as a webserver, in the sense of being for a website, with forums, etc. I only want to have it for storage , mostly images,... however it needs to be stable, and keep running because I will be linking to the images from other sites at times. I don't mean like a public image storage site, it is only 150gb, and for my own personal use,... I like Minix3 because the OS use such a small amount of space, leaving me most of the space for storage,etc,...

I haven't had a Minix3 box up in a while, so I'm operating from my (human) memory. But, I think that the reincarnation server puts a message in the syslog that it has reloaded the driver every time it does, and that's not showing in your logs. This seems like maybe a fix could be a watchdog?

Thanks again for your feed back , and interest. Sadly, I have decided install another OS to the server,
I need to do some experimenting and work with Minix 3, maybe one of the more recent snapshots, but in any even I need to do this on a machine I have physical access to. Later , if and when everything seems ok, I can put it on-line again. Thanks
