how could I adapt a wlan card to openbsd?
hello
as it's possible you share this mind, one of the blocking point of openbsd is the hardware suppor, regarding both graphics hardware (pikebu nvidia), or also sensitive wireless lan subject. i'd like to know : as a neeb, how could I adapt a broadcom or atheros (i guess all intel are supported) wlan card to openbsd? -how much times does it requires? -which type of knowledge? -or others prequesites? You can easily install the source code to the operating system and study the source code to the drivers currently found in the kernel. Assess your own coding ability and interest, and this will answer most of your questions above.

Also nvidia and usually broadcom do not release documentation for their hardware making it practically impossible to write drivers for them. That's often why they are not supported.
