As I'm currently building a FreeBSD server with pkg exclusively (or trying it), I wonder if there are nginx packages available which add GeoIP support. The port allows me to add it.
I know there are "flavors" of FreeBSD packages; yet, how can I find out? |

IMHO it would be simpler to build that flavor yourself. I have installed poudriere on a package building box with the ZFS filesystem. This allows you to build the old-fashioned or the new pkg style of packages.
See http://www.freshports.org/ports-mgmt/poudriere/ and https://fossil.etoilebsd.net/poudrie...doc/index.wiki

That would require a separate box (or jail, at least); and a bit more effort.
Hm. But thanks for the hint! |

If you want to keep it simple you could do a
# pkg create of your flavour.

Ah, good plan. Thanks.
