The BAD news:

Due to a tsunami of SEO/spam bot registrations (about 30 per hour ) the administrators have decided to temporarily disable new users to register as member.

The GOOD news:

You still can join Daemonforums and register by using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.

1. Mail us your desired username
2. Tell us how you found daemonforums.org
3. Provide some output of your BSD or Linux system, for example:
   
   
   • dmesg | head -10 or
   • man disklabel | head -10 or
   • env

That way we know you are an Unix/Linux user and not a bot.

We apologize for this inconvenience, new members are really welcome.
Unfortunately the current semi-automatic approval system for new users is really taking too much time for the current administration staff and forces us to take this step.
