Please review forum rules

The administrative staff continues to tweak Daemonforum's forum rules to help everyone understand what conduct is acceptable on our site. We urge all members, new & old, to review these rules on an ongoing basis.

While this might appear to be a bureaucratic request & easily dismissed, the forum rules helps the staff provide a consistent policy which is used to settle occasional skirmishes & deal with the ever-present problems associated with spam. To keep these forums available to all, we need baseline policies to allow everyone to have their say.

Our goal is to keep these forums free of clutter which doesn't pertain to free discussion of *BSD issues. The administrative staff welcomes comments from the general membership about our policies & how they can be improved to meet the changing Internet landscape & needs of our community. Fundamentally, these forums should be fair to all as they use, learn, & explore everything about the *BSD family.
