phpMyAdmin Unaccessable
Hello,
I installed phpMyAdmin and all was working fine. I could access it and make changes and all that. Then the symbolic link got removed by mistake. Now when I create a new symbolic link (we wanted to rename it anyway) the link is no longer accessible but works fine via command line. We have tried restarting apache and everything. No configuration changes have occurred other than removing the symbolic link. If anyone knows what could be up please let me know. I would prefer to fix this as apposed to re: install more because I'd like to know why its broken. Thanks! |

Hi jggimi,
Thanks for replying. Yes I had installed from pkg_add so it was installed into the default location. (/var/www/phpMyAdmin) I ended up just copying the folder into htdocs and that works. I'm not clear on what the purpose of the symbolic link is anyway, at least on a single website. Just thought if anyone knew why the new symlink would not work would be nice to know. Oh well thanks for your input. |

What is the output of
Code:
ls -l /var/www/htdocs/phpMyAdmin
