Hi
I’m trying to get my old SunBlade 100 (sparc64) going with BetBSD and I’m running into a bit of an issue. When I boot from the install CDROM I get about halfway through and then it switches video modes to something my monitor can’t handle and my display goes dark. Is there a boot parameter I can pass to force it to stay in the initial video mode? Thanks! |

Some of this may depend on the version you are running. Kernel Mode setting (KMS) was added in 7.0. My understanding is that disabling libdrm will prevent KMS and can be done via userconf(4)
