Default IRC channels for OpenBSD

Hi All,

I'm trying to find a more real time interactive means of learning OpenBSD and understand there's some good IRC channels out there with (in some cases) hundreds of fellow OpenBSD users.

Here's one that allegedly has 671 users, but when I try to join it through the web https://en.irc2go.com/webchat/?net=L...openbsd&java=1 it loads a blank page (no error messages even)

I'm using noscript, but I've disabled it for this site, so what gives? Anyone else get the same when they try and load it on their browser, and in particular Firefox 107.0?

That page still tries to embed a Java applet (yes,Java, not Javascript) which every major browser has removed support for years ago.
What you're trying to join there is the #openbsd channel on the Libera.Chat IRC network.
You can join the same channel using a modern browser here: https://web.libera.chat/#openbsd
