What is good support to the file system ext3?
What is good support to the file system ext3?
I think that zfs is a very good file system but I would like use an ext3 partion for share some data with linux. Mount NTFS / Ext2 / Ext3 / FAT 16 / FAT 32 in Solaris OpenSolaris Project: Ext3 file system support Initially the support is only on read, now it's appear possible also on write. I think a project in its early stages and even complete, I would understand if it is stable enough to be able to be used in peace. Otherwise I fear that the only alternative would be to use the file system fat. |

I hope that in the next release (or as soon as possible) to have a good support for file system ext3, i would like avoid to use Fat.
Also between a closed system (ntfs) and an open (ext3) i prefer the second. |
