Default can't boot OmniOSCE

I installed OmniOSCE on a logical partition in the extended partition. It overwrote my bootloader. When I restored it and chainloaded OmniOSCE, it said something like can't find /boot/zfsloader. Someone on IllumOS IRC said I could boot from a logical partition. Were they not telling the truth?

I'm not familiar with OmniOS, but any other Solaris distribution, including Solaris itself, will recommend to format the whole disk as a ZFS pool. I doubt OmniOS offers the option to install on a legacy UFS partition, and I wonder it it's feasible to have ZFS on standalone logical partition

Someone on Libera.chat IRC #illumos said you can make a ZFS partition, so I did, and successfully installed... they didn't tell me what to do about boot code.

Someone there also said to use the installboot command, but not how. I see there's also a bootadm command. These should be documented with examples for the case if one installs to a partition.
