Hi there,
We have installed nagios on 2 servers to monitor our network, however since the last portupgrade, nagios on both machines just sits there, and doesn't probe any machines or services. The logs don't say anything other than [1213758202] Nagios 2.12 starting... (PID=77539) [1213758202] LOG VERSION: 2.0 [1213758202] Finished daemonizing... (New PID=77540) [1213758218] Caught SIGTERM, shutting down... The sigterm doesn't actually kill it, it still just sits there. I can't kill the process even with a -9. Anyone seen this or have any ideas? # uname -a FreeBSD my.webzone.net.au 5.4-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE #0: Mon Oct 30 22:18:18 CST 2006 root@my.webzone.net.au:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/KERN i386 # pkg_info nagios* Information for nagios-2.12_1: I am aware of the EOL on 5.x however both servers nagios' stopped before the EOL came into play. TIA Cheers cya Andrew Last edited by awd; 18th June 2008 at 04:35 AM. Reason: forgot to add logging |
