Very interesting indeed, I especially liked the highlander references .
Most of the stuff I've encountered on HP-UX, makes me feel like it's an archaic commercial UNIX at heart, the kind that makes perls no unnecessary limits seem the opposite end of the developmental gene pool. I can say that I'm familiar with AIX, other than 'different' seems to fit, whenever I do see references for it somewhere.
