Sysupgrade with full disk encryption
Hello,
I have just installed a snapshot of OpenBSD with full disk encryption. But now I have a problem with the upgrade process. sysupgrade does download the files correctly after which the computer reboots. The upgrade files are recognized during boot but the upgrade process gets stuck: Code:

I also have a full disk encryption but don't use the sysupgrade tool.
As pointed out by jggimi you could interrupt the boot process. Then you can type bsd.rd and upgrade manually. Hopefully you'll be able to see what the problem is. You can interrupt the upgrade process via Ctrl C and get a shell. |

With bsd.booted I could boot again into my desktop. After deleting /home/_sysupgrade and /bsd.upgrade I am back to normal.
Maybe the problem was that I wanted to upgrade fresh snapshot. If sysupgrade won’t work later I will try the manual upgrade process. Thank you both. |
