Lightbulb How to copy FBSD installation from one which is already installed on a HDD?

I have a installation of FreeBSD on a HDD partition on a Desktop. Is there anyway ( say using disk cloning utilities ) to copy entire installation - with the ports - onto a laptop HDD partition?

"with the ports" is important because I do not want to redo all the port installations and other system customizations on the laptop.

Any help appreciated.
