can't get into the server
Hi
As a few of you know I got bit by the cc bug when upgrading to 7.1-PRERELEASE. I then ran sysinstall and downloaded the 7.0-RELEASE code and installed it. The installation went all perfect and I rebooted the server. Not the best idea I had but hey I had to try something. Any ways, now I can't ssh into the server. I get the ssh prompt asking me for my password but it doesn't want to accept it. I even asked my ISP to reset the root password and enable root login in the sshd_config file but I still only get the password screen and it keeps telling me that my password is wrong. They even created a normal user and the same thing happens Here is an example Code:
ssh root@10.0.0.10 Password: Password: Password: Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive). ssh hamba@10.0.0.10 Password: Password: Password: Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive). Thanks Reinhold |
