Backing Up your configuration
Code:
tar cvzf config_bu.tar.gz .local .config scripts

What about .cache?

What about .cache?
I tried to consolidate most of the configuration files in ~/.config but integrating ncurses apps took some scripting
and user specific ~/.local/share/applications*.desktop files.
If your .cache contains important data you can add it

Code:
tar cvzf config_bu.tar.gz .local .config scripts .cache
Other backup files can include ~/.mozilla and .~/.vimrc

There have been some changes to hostname.if(5) and doas.conf(5) that do not change the configuration instructions. As of this time, this guide should be usable for -current (6.6). If anyone picks up an new issue, let me know and we'll work on the update.

By modified the Xterm part of your .Xdefaults on what you wrote + by modified the nord theme, I mixed something near what it may be expect for the nord theme as far as I can do:

As I do not understand all the code, use at your own risks, "In general you shouldn't compile programs you don't understand anyway." (Allegro Vivace).
Code of .Xdefaults

For using the nord theme for vim, refer the "Dracula theme for Vim". Download the nord-vim theme and do the same as Dracula. More information here.

I have not really set a theme policy but I think it should require that the theme be an official port.
Another widely used theme is the Solarized theme:

From 6.5 + BareGUI to 6.6 with syspatch then sysupgrade then pkg_add -u. All seems ok. I have only this I noticed - maybe even before sysupgrade or I destroyed it by modifying BareGUI - no image for "Sound & Video" :

By the way, why it is the name Bare in BareGUI?

In all case, thank you again for your works. BUT I still miss SimpleDE ahah! I am like that, loving old days...
