Apache SSL
I have an apache2 installation on freebsd 6.2. Trying to get SSL going with virtual hosts on a specific IP address, but when I add the IP address:443 directive ssl will not work and firefox give me an Error Code: -12263. It will only work with a <VirtualHost *:443> directive. The ip I am using is assigned to the loopback of the webserver. The normal virtual hosts are setup with a <VirtualHost *:80> directive, I'm wondering if this has something to do with it, any help would be appreciated.
'in httpd.conf' Include ssl.include <ssl.include> Listen 443 AddType application/x-x509-ca-cert .crt AddType application/x-pkcs7-crl .crl SSLPassPhraseDialog builtin SSLSessionCache shmcb:/usr/local/apache/logs/ssl_scache(512000) SSLSessionCacheTimeout 300 SSLMutex file:/usr/local/apache/logs/ssl_mutex <VirtualHost *:443> - works #<VirtualHost 33.33.33.33:443> - doesnt work #<VirtualHost _default_:443> - works btw the 33.33 is a dummy IP. |
