Fluxbox fbsetbg problem

I'm not able to set wallpaper using "fbsetbg" in fluxbox.

I installed graphics/feh and then issued the command

& fbsetbg /data/Wallpapers/image.jpg
usage: ldd [-a] [-v] [-f format] program ...
wmsetbg: not found

and at the same time a dialogue box appears with caption "gxmessage" which says

fbsetbg: Something went wrong when settingthe wallpaper.
Run 'wmsetbg -s -S /data/Wallpapers/image.jpg' from an exterm to find out what.

and when I try to run wmsetbg is says wmsetbg: not found

you can use alternative program....
like esetroot, which comes with eterm port

Use feh, works better, is independent of everything (even fluxbox) and also serves as a great and fast image viewer.

Not that this answers your question, but I use fbsetbg with feh and have been getting that error for the last month or so. I never stopped to figure out why because it does set the background for me.

Ye, if i remember correctly fbsetbg uses (to set wallpaper) 1st program it finds that can set wallpapers...

I was thinking about using feh firectly ... without any useless wrappers.

... or maybe he installed the one that is not working anymore, Esetroot which is bundled with eterm package is first on the list.

I also do not encourage for use fbsetbg as a wrapper, better directly use feh or other wallpaper setter.
