Default Linux emulation

The documentation for some of this seems to be non-existant. Forgive me beforehand for any mistakes.

Okay, I'm trying to instaall virtualbox on FreeBSD amd64. No luck with the build process. I've downloaded the 1.6.0 linux amd64 and did sh /path/to/file.run.
Build stopped and asked for headers.

Linux headers for freebsd? In ports or do I import? Do I Look for fc4 headers or 2.4.x headers relating to linux kernel emulation?
Brandelf this file?

kBuild broken due to changing file permissions but this is needed to build virtualbox. I need this to build any version and that is why I am mentioning it in this post. Force install or download from website?

Say what?

Have you tried the official FreeBSD Handbook:

VirtualBox is not ported to FreeBSD, use QEMU + kqemu.

Linux is not UNIX! Face it! It is not an insult. It is fact: GNU is a recursive acronym for “GNU's Not UNIX”.

You can't run the Linux VirtualBox on FreeBSD with just emulation. It relies on a kernel driver and all of that has to be ported over.
