Challenge: What computer is this?
Attached is a photograph of an old computers motherboard, your challenge is to identify the type of computer it comes from !
First hint: It was the 1980s, its memory could be measured in 10s of KB, and these babies could retail for under 250.00 in native currency. The forum resizes the images, so a larger one is available by request.

So, What did I win? EDIT: (Info below..) I searched for the NEC D780C-1, found a reference.. found the Wikipedia page.. found the picture used by TerryP. Here are the details I could make out based on that largely unclear image posted... Dang, that's what I get for using the first decent picture :-P
I'll have to make sure to give you a head-start on the next challenge, whenever I find it.

I'm a bit shocked at myself. When I read your challenge I thought "bloody hell, fat chance". But I couldn't resist looking at the pic anyway. Without skipping a beat - "Oh, a ZX Spectrum" lol! Just goes to show that the brain of a 9 nine year old is a weird and wonderful and peculiarly 'programmable' thing...
