ZFS root and linproc 7.2-RC1
I have a interesting problem with zfs as root under 7.2-RC1
The problem occurs after installing linproc in the fstab. When booting, the system loads everything properly except when it gets to the linproc line in fstab. Then it complains that there is no /usr/compat and aborts the boot. When I go into single user at that point I can see tank/root but can't see tank/usr, tank/var, or tank/home. It would appear that it is attempting to process the fstab before the entirety of the zfs pool is enabled and available. Is this the way it is supposed to work? And if so does anyone know of a work around than putting /usr on the tank/root filesystem? |
