Disable audible bell in .Xresources
Hello.
I know you can put "xset b off" in ~/.xsession to disable audible bell, but can this be done through .Xresources? Is there a command I can put into .Xresources to disable audible bell? |

That depends upon the X application.
For example I believe you can disable the bell in xterm(1) by one or more of its resources. Do a search for bell in xterm(1)'s manual. There are a quite few bell options. EDIT: looks like there is not a setting to disable the audible bell for xterm(1) unless you set "visualBell" to true. To me that setting is worse than a beep
