how do I switch the mouse to left handed?
Thank you. |

There isn't really much to it, though... some mice have physical designs that favour right handed people.
Assuming you're using Xorg 7.. as per the xf86-input-mouse man page I can't locate in FreeBSD.

I should also add, some Desktop Environments provide an easier way to configure the mouse.. so there may be able to handle the transition a bit better, I don't use one personally.
One thing you may notice is the mouse cursors direction, it'll probably be pointing the wrong way.. The following was gleaned from the fluxbox startup script: % xsetroot -cursor_name right_ptr Note, this doesn't appear to effect GTK applications like Firefox.. as a right handed person I haven't had to deal with any of this before, but I'll keep looking into a solution for you. (and the archives..). |
