Default Does the BB code for Strikethrough work for you?

A member reported that the 'strikethrough' BB code did not work for him. You can read about the pure HTML tag/code for this at https://www.w3docs.com/learn-html/html-strike-tag.html

The following line should show the strikethrough BB code:
  • First the code: [del]This is striketrhough'ed[/del]
  • Now for real: This is striketrhough'ed
For me with firefox on OpenBSD 7.1. it works correctly.
Before I start to mess around with the HTML code for this tag, please report whether this works for you. Please state your OS and browser(version)

Just for fun looking at some outsiders:

ELinks-0.16.GIT/d562d9b836cbaad529f4c7aa3c0f2cec3f6502f2 ignores it being struckthru.

W3M-0.5.3+git20210102-6 shows it as "Now for real: [DEL:This is striketrhough'ed:DEL]".

EWW (TUIy Emacs-27.1 in Xterm) shows strike-thru-ed stuff in red here.

EWW (GUIy Emacs-27.1 on X11 (I'm still ignoring Wayland)) strikes thru correctly (using Tao-Yin theme). \o/

P.S.: I need to reactivate "Disable smilies in text" after each preview. Forum glitch?

Testing, testing... Yup, all good.

Arch Linux (6.0.9), Firefox (107.0).

EDIT: under GNOME, native Wayland support enabled (not that it matters but anyway).

What I had was nested inside an Ordered List and bracketed content just did not appear. It is working now in Firefox-esr, vimb (webkitgtk-4.0) and ungoogled-chromium. www/ungoogled-chromium has had a number of patches/updates and I cannot recall what browser I was using when I had the issue. I did double check the formatting, removed it and regenerated a second time with the issue persisting prior to reporting the issue. At that time I did not try different rendering engines.

My conclusion is that it seems to work and that nothing needs to be changed
