Hi everyone,
Nightly on NetBSD crashes very often. Is there a binary package of Firefox stable or Firefox ESR on NetBSD yet? |

From http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/pac...amd64/8.1/All/
Here is what is currently available: Quote:

Indeed, firefox68, firefox60 and firefox52 are all Nightly. I wonder why they chose unstable versions to port to the pkgsrc.

NetBSD pkgsrc still reflects a lack of the Mozilla Foundations blessing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozill...nded_by_Debian If you are willing to grind out your own Firefox via pkgsrc, you can opt for Official Branding although the license terms say it is for personal use only and not to be redistributed. If you are going to try to build anything greater than firefox52, the rust package is a dependency. devel/rust is a long compile that only succeeds in NetBSD 8.* in the x86_64 port. You've been posting alot of NetBSD issues which are known problems that few have answers for. My advice is that NetBSD is for those who are looking to test their troubleshooting skills.
