Kaspersky, Norton, McAfee, what a choice
If I had to have an AV, I think Kaspersky would be better than the rest. But the good thing is, I am on a OS that has no need for AV.

tl;dr AVs spy. Use them only for business and financial activities if needed.
Everybody with rudimentary understanding how AVs work know they are very invasive programs and have ability to spy. Even without that understanding most people should know that after CrowdStrike incident. My take on that is that I assume they spy. All of them. I use only non-Russia based AV on one phone for better compliance to my bank policy, because: 1. Banks usually require AVs on end devices; I can positively answer AV question in court if something goes wrong and I will have to go legal way, 2. due to how Android restricts apps, including AV apps, it doesn't have access to everything and it can't destabilize system as easily. On the personal laptop and the more private phone I don't have any AV. Maybe I should look at ClamAV just to have some kind of compliance.
