Port Build without having to de-overclock p4 (YMMV)
update: one subsequent portbuild failed with the same method (actually
two concurrent builds each which completed at underclock) on this p4, overclocked, 20 or so ports routinely fail to build with... [[Before today, I always UnderClocked before each of those builds.]] .............. Error Code 2 or Bus Error or (some 3d, 4th ) ............. (once so far) WORKED. not de-overclocked: #cd /usr/ports/category/port gnice --adjustment=10 make build && yell ................. (I used gnice rather than nice because its manpage was a bit more verbose in an example, I thought) (/yell/ is a port) ................ Last edited by jb_daefo; 4th October 2008 at 09:35 AM.
