It looks like you haven't loaded the kernel driver for your video card. You may want to post details of your system such as what video card you have, what modules you have loaded (perhaps look in /boot/loader.conf).

OpenBSD 4.3 didn't officially support DRM/DRI, an early version of oga@'s work is included... but you have to recompile both the kernel *and* xenocara.
As for the slowness you're seeing, DRI typically accelerates "3D" graphics, 2D graphics are handled by the Xorg driver, (SIS) in this case. Here is the man page, which, sadly conflicts with a SiS Ethernet chipset: $ man -M /usr/X11R6/man sis I don't see anything that may better your situation though, apologies. |

Thanks all.
I think, something is wrong with DRI. Should i build a Xenocara? Is another reason to install DRI? Last edited by Hihihi; 18th July 2008 at 03:54 PM. |

No, it's not related to DRI.. the warning message is normal and is present in everyones Xorg log.
Recompiling your kernel for DRM and Xenocara for DRI will not likely improve anything... With the state of the work, It will likely crash anyway. This was already made clear above... |
